Does this jingle sound familiar? To some, winter may be the most wonderful time of the year; to others, however, it may be a dreaded time when the weather turns cold and things to do can seem limited. If you’re in this latter camp of people, I hope this information will be helpful as we’ve comprised a list of eight great places to visit when the weather turns cold and you’re limited for activity options!
1. Exploritorium in Skokie

2. The Little Gym

3. Kaitlin’s Hideout

4. Sky High Sports

5. Pump It Up
Pump it Up in Elmhurst is an indoor blow-up play ground where children can release energy. The first Tuesday of every month offers a sensory friendly environment by reserving play areas for children on the autism spectrum and their families. $12 per kids. 6. AMC
AMC has partnered with the Autism Society, offering sensory friendly movie showings on the second and forth Saturday of every month. These special movie times promote getting up to walk around, dancing and singing! 7. Kohls Children Museum
