Julie is the Allied Health Services Manager with KGH. Julie received her bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing sciences from Indiana University, and her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Indiana University. She is a Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Missouri, and is a Hanen certified speech-language pathologist. Julie is a member of The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a credentialed evaluator and SLP with the Early Intervention program of Illinois. Julie’s experience includes working with children ages birth to 21 years of age with a range of diagnoses including: phonological and articulation disorders, motor speech deficits, childhood apraxia of speech, ASD, expressive and receptive language disorders, stuttering, AAC, and feeding. She has worked in both clinic settings and with children providing home-based services. In her free time, Julie enjoys spending time with her family and chihuahua-dachshund mix Ruby, trying new restaurants around Chicago, reading, and travel. Julie is passionate about working with children and helping them communicate and interact functionally.
