KGH is proud to offer a daily ABA therapy program for ages 12 months to 5 years old. Hours of therapy are between 9:00-3:00 and will consist of:
Baseline assessment and follow up testing with treatment plan updates- Developmentally appropriate goals focusing on the core deficits of ASD
- Behavior Analyst providing direct treatment and parent coaching weekly with your child
- Ability to watch your child’s session data in real time
- Parent Education & Empowerment Series – interactive training course to help you be more successful with your child
- Sessions conducted at the center and/or your home for optimal success
- Various treatment rooms (toy town, motor room, etc.) and opportunities to engage and communicate with other children
Once your child has met necessary pre-requisite skills, they will transition to our Play Pals Program:
KGH Play Pals is an educational program dedicated to the success of preschool children moving towards their kindergarten experience. Play Pals is specifically designed for children ages 3-5 years old with an autism spectrum diagnosis. Your child will receive:
- ½ day 1:1 ABA therapy and ½ day 1:1 ABA therapy in group classroom instruction
- Classroom instruction is led by a BCBA and overseen by a BCBA-D, with Therapist support.
- Curriculum designed by KGH that aligns with state standards
- Individualized instruction to maximize learning
- Systematic fading of 1:1 support
- IEP support
- Transition to support kindergarten placement
Your Play Pals Lead Instructor will work closely with your comprehensive KGH therapy team to bridge your child’s educational experience with their individual therapy goals. This allows your child’s to get the most from Play Pals, while achieving superior collaboration between Play Pals and your child’s ABA program. Our goal is to teach your child how to become an active, social, and natural learner so your child can be prepared and have a successful kindergarten year!
